Tips To Improve This Recipe
- Use fresh chicken pieces for the best texture and taste.
- Adjust the level of spice by adding more or less chili according to your preference.
Step 1
In a bowl, combine the chicken with soy sauce, oyster sauce, baking soda, sugar, cornflour, oil, salt, and pepper. Mix everything well and let it sit while you get the rest ready.
Step 2
Heat some oil in a pan, then add the spring onions, capsicum, and onions. Cook them gently on low heat for about 2-3 minutes, then take the pan off the heat and set it aside.
Step 3
In another pan, warm up some oil and sauté the chopped garlic for 2-3 minutes over medium-low heat until fragrant.
Step 4
Add the marinated chicken to the garlic and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
Step 5
Toss in the sautéed vegetables, mix everything together, and then turn off the heat.
Step 6
Serve it up hot and enjoy your meal!
