Why This Dish Is Hard To Resist
Helpful Chef Tips
- Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes to boost flavor.
- Cook the chicken on medium-high heat to get a nice sear without drying it out.
Step 1
Slice the chicken breast into thin strips, and do the same with the onion.
Step 2
Mix together your taco seasoning in a small bowl.
Step 3
Toss the chicken strips with the taco seasoning and a tablespoon of oil until everything is well coated.
Step 4
In the same bowl, add some taco seasoning to the sliced onions and give it a good mix.
Step 5
Heat a little oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the chicken until it’s golden brown, then add the onions and sliced capsicum. Stir everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes, then take it off the heat.
Step 6
Warm up your tortilla wraps, then spread a little tomato ketchup on each one. Layer with lettuce, the cooked chicken mixture, and top with fresh cucumber and tomato slices.
Step 7
Serve your tacos with lemon wedges on the side for a fresh squeeze of juice.
