Why This Recipe Is A Must Try
Cooking Hints
- Preheat the oven well to get a crispy crust.
- Add fresh herbs like basil or oregano for extra flavor.
Step 1
Activat the yeast: mix the yeast, sugar, and milk in a cup and stir well. Let it sit for about 15 minutes until it’s frothy and bubbly.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Pour in the fermented yeast mixture and gradually add more milk while kneading until you get a soft, smooth dough.
Step 3
Add the oil and knead again until it’s fully incorporated. Cover the dough with a greased bowl and let it rest for about an hour, or until it doubles in size.
Step 4
While the dough is rising, marinate the chicken with yogurt, coriander powder, chili powder, cumin, salt, chili flakes, tikka masala, and ginger-garlic paste. Mix well, then cook it in a pan with some oil until the chicken is cooked through and nicely browned. Set it aside.
Step 5
Mix together ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard paste, soy sauce, and oregano to make the pizza sauce. Set this aside.
Step 6
Once the dough has doubled, punch it down and divide it into two balls. Lightly flour your surface and roll out each ball into a pizza base. Place the dough on a greased pizza pan. Spread the sauce around the edges and cover them slightly.
Step 7
Use a fork to prick the dough a few times, then spread sauce over the middle. Top with mozzarella cheese, the cooked chicken, capsicum, tomato, onion, and more cheese. Sprinkle oregano over the top.
Step 8
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake the pizza for 20–25 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly. Let it cool slightly, then enjoy!
