Why This Dish Is So Special
Helpful Tips For Cooking
- Avoid overmixing the meat to keep the texture tender.
- Let the loaf rest for a few minutes after baking to make slicing easier.
Step 1
Melt some butter in a pan and sauté chopped onions until they become soft and see-through. Add minced garlic and cook everything together for another 2-3 minutes.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, an egg, breadcrumbs, milk, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, soy sauce, and chopped coriander leaves. Mix everything well until it’s all blended.
Step 3
Grease a baking tray with a little oil, shape the mixture into a loaf, and place it on the tray. Bake it in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 50 to 60 minutes.
Step 4
While the meatloaf is baking, mix together brown sugar, tomato ketchup, and mustard in a small bowl.
Step 5
When the meatloaf is almost done, spread the sauce evenly over the top and pop it back in the oven for another 10 minutes.
Step 6
Once it’s cooked through and the sauce is nice and sticky, take it out, let it rest a bit, then slice and serve. Enjoy!
