Why You'll Keep Making This
Cooking Advice
- Use freshly ground black pepper for a stronger, more vibrant taste.
- Cook the chicken on medium heat to keep it juicy and avoid drying out.
Step 1
Gently heat some water in a pan, then add ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder. Give it a quick stir and let it come to a boil. Once boiling, add the chicken and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes.
Step 2
Toss in the tomatoes and let them cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Then add the onions, cover the pan, and let everything cook together for another 3 to 4 minutes.
Step 3
Drizzle in some oil, add salt to taste, and cook it all for around 6 to 7 minutes. Next, stir in the yogurt, black pepper, and cumin powder. Mix everything well, cover again, and let it simmer for 5 to 7 minutes.
Step 4
Finally, add the sliced onions, capsicum, green chilies, fresh ginger, and garam masala. Give it a good mix, cook for a couple more minutes until the veggies are just tender, and you’re ready to serve.
