Tips For Perfect Results
- Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes to enhance the taste.
- Toast the bread lightly to add a nice crunch and prevent sogginess.
Step 1
Place the chicken breasts in a saucepan. Add enough water to cover them, then season with salt, pepper, and a spoonful of ginger garlic paste. Bring it to a boil and let it cook until all the water evaporates. Once done, shred the chicken and set it aside.
Step 2
Heat some oil in a pan over medium heat. Toss in the chopped garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
Step 3
Add the chopped onions and cook for another 1-2 minutes until they start to soften.
Step 4
Throw in the mixed bell peppers (green, yellow, and red) and cook for another minute, stirring occasionally.
Step 5
Add the shredded chicken to the pan and mix everything well. Season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes to your taste.
Step 6
Stir in some tomato ketchup and mayonnaise, mixing everything until it’s well combined. Once the filling looks good, take it off the heat.
Step 7
Heat a grill pan and lightly brush it with oil. Toast the bread slices on both sides until they’re golden and crispy.
Step 8
Finally, assemble your sandwich by spreading the chicken filling between two slices of the grilled bread. Enjoy!
