What Makes This Recipe So Good
Practical Cooking Tips
- Warm the wrap slightly before assembling to make it more flexible and less likely to tear.
- Add a little bit of sauce or dressing to keep the chicken moist inside the wrap.
Step 1
Warm some oil in a pan. Sauté the chopped onion and ginger-garlic paste until they turn a nice light brown. Toss in the shredded chicken along with salt, chili powder, pepper, cumin, tikka masala, and turmeric. Give it a good mix and cook for about 2-3 minutes. Once done, set it aside.
Step 2
Blend together yogurt, mayonnaise, green chilies, garlic, coriander, mint, lemon juice, red chili powder, and a pinch of salt until smooth. This will be your fresh mint yogurt sauce.
Step 3
Heat oil in a pan and fry the potato fries on medium-low heat until they’re golden and crispy. Drain them on paper towels to remove excess oil.
Step 4
To assemble, spread a generous layer of the mint yogurt sauce over a crispy Lacha Paratha (layered flatbread). Add some fresh lettuce, a good amount of the spiced chicken, a little more sauce, and a handful of fries.
Step 5
Roll it all up tightly, slice if you like, and enjoy! Don’t forget to serve with extra sauce and fries on the side for dipping.
